A pergola covers the patio, which is set up for eating outside and tucked into planting dense enough that you would not know the road was there. The studio itself is a single open-plan room holding the bed, a work desk and a kitchenette — sink, bar fridge, microwave, tea and coffee maker — rather than a separate kitchen.
The bathroom opens onto the garden
The bathroom opens straight onto the private garden, which is either the best or the oddest thing about the place depending on your view. The established planting does the screening. Outdoor furniture is already in position, so the outdoor dining area is usable from the first evening rather than the second.
Near Robberg, without the car
Robberg Beach is a five-minute walk from the door and the nature reserve 4.9 km, which puts you near Robberg without needing to drive to the sand. Goose Valley Golf Club is 6 km off. There is a private entrance, free WiFi and secure parking, and the kitchenette suits light self-catering.
