About this lodge
Deck chairs facing the ocean
Right on the beach at Keurboomstrand, sea views here reach the living room, the bedroom and several deck areas — an elevated wooden deck under a pergola makes the most of the position. Striped loungers and dining sets face straight out to the water, and wood-clad interiors with warm lighting keep the mood relaxed rather than glossy.
Enrico's, the lodge's own kitchen
The lodge runs its own restaurant, Enrico's, serving Italian food with South African flavours, so guests aren't entirely reliant on the in-room kitchenette here. It's a family-friendly stay with free WiFi and secure parking, and the terrace is a good spot to watch the sunset before dinner.
271 reviews and counting
Guests rate the lodge 9.4 overall, from 271 reviews — a large enough sample to trust. It sits on the Keurbooms side of the estuary, on Main Street in Keurboomstrand, away from the busier stretch of beach closer to central Plettenberg Bay. Goose Valley Golf Estate is a 15-minute drive away, and Nature's Valley is within 30 km.
