One room, one very high ceiling
The studio is a single room under a vaulted ceiling with exposed trusses, which gives it far more air than its footprint suggests. It opens straight onto a covered brick patio shaded by a reed-lath pergola and edged with garden planters. The renovation is recent and it shows.
Kitchenette, washing machine, barn door
The kitchenette and washing machine share one wall, and a barn door leads through to the bathroom. It is arranged for easy self-catering rather than for cooking elaborately, and braai facilities are outside on the patio. There is no pool and no sea view in the gallery, which the photographs are honest about.
A quarter-hour walk to the sand
