About this villa
Pet-friendly, and on Wedge Beach
This is one of the few beachfront villas in central Plett that will take a dog, which for anyone who travels with one narrows the shortlist to almost nothing. Wedge Beach is a few steps from the door and the sea views run the length of the property.
Recently renovated, five of everything
Five bedrooms with a bathroom each, recently renovated, along with a kitchen that has everything in it, a balcony and a terrace. The swimming pool looks over the water and the sun terrace takes the afternoon. Braai facilities and an outdoor seating area handle dinner without anyone leaving the property.
A games room and live music
There is a games room for the rainy afternoon and live music laid on, neither of which most villas of this size bother with. Picnic spots sit in the grounds. Goose Valley Golf Club is 4.6 km away, Robberg Nature Reserve 7 km and Plettenberg Bay Airport 6 km.
The verdict from eight stays
Eight guests have rated it 9.7, a small sample but an emphatic one. WiFi is free across the property and there is free private parking on site, which on Bull Street in December is not a given. Inside there is a fireplace, and outside a garden, for the evenings that turn cool.
