About this holiday home
Down over rooftops to the lagoon
From the deck the view drops over neighbouring roofs to the beach, the lagoon mouth and the mountains behind them. These are genuine sea views rather than a hopeful angle from one corner of a bedroom. The house sits high on the Waterberry Ridge hillside off Marine Drive.
Decking on two sides
Sliding doors link the living areas to outdoor decking on two sides of the house, so there is always somewhere out of the wind. Inside, wood flooring and a brick fireplace keep the rooms warm-toned rather than the usual beach white. Braai facilities and outdoor seating sit on the terrace.
Four bedrooms, four bathrooms
Four bedrooms with a bathroom each is unusual, and it makes the house workable for two families travelling together without anyone drawing the short straw. There is a lounge, an indoor play area and family rooms alongside them. Forty-seven guests have rated it 9.2, which for a house this size takes some doing.
What comes as standard
Free WiFi runs throughout, the house is air-conditioned, and secure parking sits on site behind the gate. Lookout Beach is 2.1 km away and Goose Valley Golf Club 4.1 km, both easy enough in the car. The garden and the sun terrace take care of the hours in between.
